Allan Stratton speaks in today's Post about his novel, now a movie entitled Life, Above All,The film is opening (finally) in Toronto and Montreal on July 15, and in Vancouver on July 22, and tells the story of Chanda, a 13-year-old girl in a small African town whose life is changed by the death of family members from AIDS.
Stratton mentions the lovely fact that "Chanda’s secrets has been chosen as a teaching aid by a number of Sub-Saharan countries, where AIDS remains a major cause of death, but also a taboo subject."
