Faster and cheaper than traditional books, e-readers are being used in a pilot project in Ayenyah, Ghana. Worldreader used Kindles and texts donated by Project Gutenberg; the Kindles were charged using solar-powered car batteries. The pilot is now being expanded from 20 Kindles in the village to over 300 in 4 local schools.Incredible!
